Our Team

Dr. Suzan Alawi is a highly experienced and sought-after General Practitioner with a career spanning
over three decades and across three continents. She earned her medical degree in Iraq in the late
80s, then enhanced her expertise through many years of practice in Melbourne before enriching her
experience in New Zealand, where she has been practicing for over 14 years.
Dr. Alawi holds a prestigious Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She is passionate about paediatrics and women’s health and is dedicated to delivering exceptional
patient care. Her practice is characterized by meaningful, one-on-one patient interactions and a
talent for addressing complex medical challenges.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Alawi enjoys traveling with her family and pottering with her
grandchildren.

Dr. Alawi currently works Wednesday mornings and Fridays.

Meet Emily, a dedicated nurse from Stanmore Bay, New Zealand. With Bachelor degrees in Nursing and Health Sciences from the University of Auckland, Emily has been delivering compassionate care since graduating in 2012. With a decade of experience in the Emergency Department and subsequent roles in Telehealth and general practice, she is committed to providing kind and equitable care to our community. On her days not working in the clinic, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their three kids, baking delicious treats, and exploring the local beaches.

Emily currently works Tuesdays and Fridays.

Meet Nurse Hannah! Hannah holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Massey University and is passionate
about making primary healthcare accessible to all. With a special interest in children’s health,
immunisation promotion, wound care, and delivering empathetic, patient-centred care, she strives
to make a positive impact in people’s lives. Hannah values collaboration, encouraging patients to
take an active role in their care decisions.

Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her son, family, and friends. You will see her in the
clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays!
